Get Inspired And Change Your Life

“I think that’s the single best piece of advice: constantly think about how you could be doing things better and questioning yourself.” Elon Musk
I am a big collector of inspirational material. I love the timeless wisdom of Jim
Rohn, Dale Carnegie, Zig Ziglar, and some of the new thought leaders. There a lot of them here on Medium. Benjamin Hardy, Anthony Moore, Nicholas Cole, and others.
I have three files on my IPad that are jammed full of great quotes and ideas that I have collected over the years.
Today I would like to share a few of my favorite quotes. I hope that they will inspire you and get you thinking about how you can incorporate some of these into your life.
“Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” Barack Obama
How many times have we said to ourselves or other people, “Sally needs to change her behavior, she needs to contribute to the group more.”
We have all been in that situation and said those things. But the last thing we think of doing is changing ourselves. We are insulted that someone would mention that we may need to make a change as well.
We never think of changing ourselves.
Why is that?
Because change is hard. It puts us out of our comfort zone.
How many of you have heard your friends say “ I can’t find a good guy? I can’t find a good woman? Yet one of the problems might be they are there looking in the wrong places.
Darren Hardy had a great idea about finding a soulmate. Darren’s solution was to buy a journal and begin writing. Write down everything you desire in your mate. From the way they look and dress, to how they act, their personality, their job. Write down everything in great detail.
When you have completed your journaling, read it back to yourself. Now go out and start being the person that you wrote about in your journal. That is how you will attract your ideal soulmate into your life.
“Be the change you want to see in the world.” Gandhi.
